I like Santa's toys because they're fun to
play with. I leave cookies and milk for Santa
and carrots for the reindeer. This year for
Christmas I would like Jem and a make-up
set. I write Santa a letter every year and
usually get what I asked for. I sometimes go
tochurch Christmas eve. On Christmas Eve
I get to open one christmas present.
Christmas morning I get up at around 7:00.

Santa and his Reindeer

Christmas Eve was cold and stormy. San-
ta was worried that he would blow away. He
went looking for a giant owl. Santa climbed
on the owl's legs.
While flying through the sky, Santa fell off
of the owl. He landed on his feet with a
THUMP! Santa whistled for his reindeer
and they came to him from the North Pole.
He climbed into the sleigh and told the
reindeer to run.
The owl let go of the bag of presents and
they fell right into Santa's sleigh. Santa took
the presents to the boys and girls.

I like Christmas Eve. Santa comes to our
house and gives us presents. Santas gave
mea big pillow that I like to sleep with. We
leave cookies in the livingroom for Santa
Claus. Then I go to bed. I feel happy on
Christmas Eve.
The Corning of Santa

Christmas eve is upon us,
It's that time of year,
All the Christmas decorations are. up,
Now we wait until Santa gets here,
We're all tucked in bed,
We're almost asleep,
When we heard on the roof,
The sound of stamping feet.
I thought, for sure it was Santa,
Because of his thundering laugh,
He went down the chimney,
With a loud crash.
He filled the stockings,
And under the tree,
He put lots of presents,
For you and for me.
And up the chilli/ley,
I heard him rise,
He jumped in his sleigh,
His reindeer flew him up in the
sky.
As he flew off
Into the night
He yelled "Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night."

The Story of Santa Claus
By Drew Alkemade
Gr. 3/4 SPS
Once a long, long time ago there ws a
man. His name was Claus he was an old
man but he was nice. He made toys for
children. But if the child belongs to a rich
family he charged 50 for a toy but if they
belonged to a poor family it was free. He got
so old that he couldn't get out of bed. But he
still made toys. The children started to call
him Santa Claus for all the toys he made.
One night something magical happened.
The next day Santa Clues was out of bed and
making alot more toys and for much less
money. Then, he went into the forest and
found some reindeer he called them,
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet,
Cupid, Dormer, Blitzen, and Rudolph. He
found out they were magic. One night he
hicked his sled up to the reindeer. He started
going around the world every year on
December 25. People called it Christmas.

Old St. Nick

,
Very naughty, very sly,
Made a very bad trick,
For the coming of St. Nick.
We put 4 rotten eggs,
In side the ashes and soot,
For when he comes down
They'll be egg on his foot.
He'll jump like a flea,
But I say not in glee,
Then he'll snicker then smile,
And sit down for WW2
He will then fill the stocking,
With tiny toys so tight,
Then with a mightly long saying,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good
night"
