If I couldn't stay home for Christmas..
By Morgan Murray
Gr.'7 SPS
My family decided they didn't want to
stay home for Christmas. Instead they
wanted to go to St. Thomas Virgin Island. I
wasn't too keen about going at first, but
when the time came, I was ready to get out
of the coldness of our Canadian winters.
It only took us 4I/2 hours to get there by
plane. When we got to our hotel, we started
unpacking our luggage, and putting on some
comfortable clothes.
It' was 12:00 pm, so we went out for lunch
and got some fast food. Time flew by quickly
and in no time I was lying in bed looking out
at the shiny water.
The next day we went for a swim as we did
every day that week. We went to see famous
tour sites, one of them a fancy hotel. We
went shopping, and even rented a boat and
went sailing for a day.
I got an excellent sun -tan and a lot of nice
souvpniers. 1 bought everyone in my family
a matching necklace and bracelet, which
they sold on the beach.
Tweleve hours later we were in our hotel
packing. Our vacation sure did go fast.
When we got to Toronto the ground was
covered with four feet of snow., What a dif-
ference between sunny St. Thomas and On-
tario. I had a great time and was glad to be
home for our Canadian "White Christmas!"

If I could not spend Christmas at home I
think I would like to spend it with Rob Lowe
in Barbados. I know it would be just as fun
as spending it in Seaforth. If 1 had to spend
Christmas with Rob Lowe in Seaforth I
guess it. would be alright top. But I would
rather spend it in the Barbados where the
sun is always shining and people are swim-
ming and doing lots of other things too.
Just thinking of spending Christmas with
Rob Lowe is such a happy feeling because
Rob Lowe is a movie star a pop star and a
good looking guy. It would also be an honour
to be spending Christmas with Rob Lowe
because I know alot of people who would die
just to see him, and I know I would be one of
