Over the mew' of winter time,
Comes the peel of church bell chlines,
The sound ofChristmas carols in the air,'
With Christmas greetings of love and care.
The church choir sings with glee, •
All around the Christmas tree,
The lights on the tree wink and blink,
It's about the Christ child we should think. •

Christmas With A . •
Bulging Pocketbok
By Monica Ryan •
St. James School
If I couldn't spend Christmas at home I
would spend it in Fairview Park Mall with
(my father's) pocketbook.
First going to the Bay, I would buy all
clothes that are very expensive and that are
only the latest fashions for everyone on my
Christmas list, including myself.
Moving right along to "Shoes Are Us" I
buy a pair of shoes for 'every outfit that I
bought at the Bay, plus an extra pair for
each pair under thirty dollars only the best
for my friends!
Next I move to the nearest Jewellers and
look for the most interesting ring.
A large 'raby's reflection of the light cat-
ches my eye, and I notice the tiny diamonds
and emermalds around it. Of course I just
have to purchase it along with a 10K gold •
chain, not very glamourous but I've always
wanted one.
I walk out of the Mall with a satisfied
smile.
Where I would like to be
for Christmas if I
wasn't at home? .
by Tanya Eckert
St. James School
I think it would depend on the reason I was
not home in the first place. Or whether or
not I could pick anywhere 'or how much
money I would need.
But on the other hand If I won playing
Wintario and it was my own money and my
family and I had all our presents bought for
everyone. I would probably go to Florida
and bring my family with me.
Well, I don't really knowwhy I would want
to go there but I think it's because I never
have gpt to go there before just my parents
have and I'm sure they would not mind go-
ing again because I'm paying. But I can tell
you one thing we will not be flying.
And next year all see you in Jarnaca.
P.S. With my parents money.
