BETTYMcCAtd. 887-6677 Thursday night finished the Walton Women's Institute euchre for this season. Everyone sampled many desserts prior to ;playing euchre. The food was set up in the hall basement then 10 tables 'of euchre were in play upstairs. Although it was quite warm everyone enjoyed themselves. Prizes were awarded to the one with the highest score for the season with a $25 che- que going to Bill McLelland and a planter of flowers 16 -Doreen Hakwell. CHURCH NEWS ' Sunday morning at Duff's United Church, Walton during the service dedications of, Memorial Gifts took place. Rev: Bonnie Lamble announced the dedicationsof a gold bible stand in memory of Jim and Edna McDonald: Present was Ken, Don and Mary their family. Mary made the presentation in the Glory and Praise of God. . Karen' Hoegy made the dedication of, a clock in memory of Walter Johnston, on behalf of Hugh. and Malinda Johnston. A beautiful flower garden, ,planted by the Junior choir was dedicated by Sarah Lam- ble and Lisa Gingerich in memory of. Trish Clark.. They all attended the 10 a.m. service in Knox Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, May 24, when "Brent Gordon" son of Ronald and Rosanne Burdett was baptized by the minister, the. Rev. John C. Henderson. Following the service over 20 family members were entertained at the home of Ron and Rosanne. • Approximately 60 pupils of Grades 5 and 6 of Grey Central School spent two days and one night camping at Falls Conservation, Benmiller, the past week.
