'Last week the Senior Games Darts Tour -
',went was held at the Legion. The turn out
was very poor but those who did come out
played five games to determine who would
represent Seaforth at the Tri -County games.
June 22 -23rd. Charles Perkins and Barbara
Scott were the winners with Peggy Perkins
and Gordon Murray as runners up. Charles
and Barbara are the defending Champions
from the Tri -County games held last year.
Saturday night the Seaforth Legion
travelled to Exeter for a joint installation of
Officers. This is the first time both Exeter
and Seaforth Officers were installed at the
sameeremony. NkLyear_iLwill he hell
Seaforth. Anyone who was unable to go to
Exeter will be installed into their office at
the next meeting.
Service Officer Cleave Coombs says the
Service Officer will be in attendance at the
Branch on June 9 from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45
p.m, Anyone wishing to see him please con-
tact Cleave for an appointment.
On June 20 the Men's Golf Tournament
will be held af the local Golf Course. Please
sign up on the list provided on the Sports
Board. The Zone Golf is on July 4. More on
this later.
June 27 is the Honors and Awards Ban-
quet. Tickets are now available,
When down at the Branch take note of the

bage team last year at the Provincial Tour-
nament, Congratulations Comrades.

Grains program
The target date for final payment for the
Special Canadian Grains Program is June 1,
1987. If a- farmer applied by the application
deadline of March 31, 1987, he will be receiv-
ing a payment.
The crops that were covered are: wheat,
barley, corn, oats, mixed grain, soybeans,
rye, canola, sunflowers, and flax. If anyone
has direct questions regarding this pay-
ment/ the number to call in Ottawa is
