It was decided to hold a springtime noon luncheon on May 5, with social committee in charge of details. This month the ladies from the Hensall Presbyterian Church will be coming in and.visiting along with playing a few friendly games of bingo. Tuesday morning began with exercises, followed in the afternoon with the weekly church service. ,This week residents welcomed Reverend Keupfer, who con- ducted the service. 'They were also fortunate ,to have the talents of Pearl Ann Martin as part of the service. She entertained with the hymns on the accordian as well as the piano. Also attending the meeting and banquet in Mitchell last Wednesday were; Mrs. Cameron's husband Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. ' Bill Mahon, Mr. and Mrs. John Scott. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stoneman, Mr: and Mrs Felson Pullman, Margaret Schrader, Twyla Waddell and Ruth Laing. All the women and children of the Cromarty community are reminded of the potluck dinner to be held in the church at 12:3b p.m. on Good Friday. Vanastra pany, while at the same time enjoying hand massages and make-up application. Thursday afternoon it was once again time for the Sharing of Stories. This month residents discussed what Easter means in- dividually, as well as memories from Easters from the past, along with Easter traditions. It was an enjoyable hour, as well as very educational. On Friday of last week several residents had the opportunity to attend the Graden Bros. CIRCUS! at the London Gardens in London. It was an exciting day of elephants,. bears wearing tu-tus, and not to mention the trapeez and high wire artists. It. was a spec- tacular show. But a special day like that doesn't happen every day without the help of volunteers. There was a group of super volunteers that helped above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you very much! Finally, on Sunday residents were for- tunate to have the talents of George Mathoni and John De Boeck at Queensway. For 1/ hours they entertained on their accordians, with favorite old time music. It was a very musical afternoon! McKillop "get $10;000 A community planning grant of $10902 has been awarded to the,County of Huron on behalf of the Township of McKillop.
