Moved by John Young, seconded by Wm. 11IcDowall, that three trustees be elected at the next annual meeting, one in the place of John McGill and one in place of joint Yourig, whose terms of office expires and one in place of Robert Phillipe, whose seat has been declared vacant by non -residence in the municipality.—Carried. Moved by John Young, seconded by Wm, McDowell, that John Porter be .appointed Returning officer, at the rate of $1 per day --Carred. Moved by Dr. Sloan, Seconded by John Yeang, that nomination and el- ection of trustees be held in the school house; nomination on Wednesday, the 99th inst., and election on Wednesday Jan 5th.
