ELECTION NOTICE AMENDMENT
LAST DAY FOR REVISION APPLICATIONS
SECTION 25 (3) MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS ACT
Due to a September 12, 1988 Supreme Court Judgement the last day
for making application to revise the Preliminary list of voters has been
determined to be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1988, and not Monday,
October 17th as previously indicated. Based on this decision, the
Seaforth Municipal Office will be open Saturday, October 15, 1988
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m,

Junior Farmers Agriculture Award and the
Topnotch Feeds Ltd. Award (both given to
students going on in the field of agriculture).
Kim Costello shared the Earl Ralph
Switzer Scholarship Fund with Krista Snell
and then took the First Presbyterian Church
Bursary (to the student in pursuit of a
career in the field of social service).
The Seaforth Lioness Club Award (to the
student going on who has displayed effort
and initiative) went to John Vincent, and the
Huronia Welding and Industrial Supplies
award (to the best welder) went to Mike
Miller.
Kevin Cooper received an Elizabeth Scott
Bursary and the SDHS Staff bursary (for
the student deserving to go on).
Other recipients of the Janet and
Margreta Snell Scholarship were Mike Ball,

Physics Award (for keen interest in
physics); Kathy Blake, Susan and Bertha
Ross Award (student who has shown
courage, determination and academic stan-
ding); Rob Charters, Jean Hildebrand
Award (to the outstanding graduating stu-
dent in business studies); Jason Schoonder-
woerd, Haugh -McNaughton Memorial
Scholarship )to the Grade 11 advance level
student having the highest standing);

The Bob Blowes Art Award was awarded
to Kate Papple (Best in Grade 9), Rob
Charters (Best in Grade 10) and Sherry Har-
burn (Most Improved Overall), The Leem-
ing Memorial Scholarships to the top
students in each grade, went to Andrew
Kennedy (Grade 9), Nancy Godkin (Grade
10) and Heather Baan (Grade 11).
