"Canada Day falls on a bad day this year - Friday. Business is pretty competitive and these store owners must have a feeling other area stores of the same calibre will be open. Councillor Harry Hak was less calm about the matter, and intimated if the by-law were passed it would undermine the special ac- tivities being planned by town organizations for that day. "The thing that bothers me is that this day, that used to be Dominion Day and is now Canada Day, is a special day. So let's celebrate it," he said. BAKED FRESH DAILY Tasty -Nu White 20 oz.
