In the afternoon the men pia ed euchre while the ladies folded laundry d cut foam. Edith Jessome kept everyonehl good spirits by playing some old melodies en the piano. Tuesday morning a Grade 7 class from Seaforth Public School came for wheelchair bowling. The students were Susan Carter, Vicki Dopy, Jonathen Hugill and Tim Bachert. The regular Grade 6 volunteers were on a bus trip and these four students very capably filled in. Wednesday, Rev. Glen Sadiier conducted worship services and several members of the Bethel Bible Church were present and certainly added to the hymn singing. Mina Scott accompanied the hymns at the piano. Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Lobb of Clinton rendered two duets. Thursday afternoon was euchre with volunteers and high scores were held by Mamie Ross and Mel Hulley. Most lone hands were won by Doris Smith, and Patrick Ryan with conSblation prizes going to Edith Salo and Ed Dunn. Lunch was pro- vided by Mary McIver and Eva McCartney week wi gave the prizes. On Friday bingo was held in the after- noon, and lucky winners were Ila Gardner, Denis Arney, Elmer Bakcsy, Doris Smith, Margeurite Shill, Wilma Brill, Mel Hulley and Mamie Ross. PERSONALS Visiting with Patrick Ryan on Sunday were his sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hernacki of Michigan, and son Michael. They took Pat out in the afternoon. Patrick also attended the funeral of the late Elmer Townsend at the Whitney-Ribey funeral home on Friday. Visitors on Friday at the"home were Ray and Freda Scotchmer and Esther and Lloyd Makins of Bayfield with Verda Cameron. Peggy and Jack Ryan visited Marjorie Ryan. Shawna, Trevor, Carl and Les Jessome visited with Edith. Audrey Cameron, Anne and Paul Boshart, Amy, Jason, Timmy and two -week-old great. grandson Michael visited Verde Cameron on Sunday. Maria Groverts was out with daughter Elza Ruston. Gladys Ruston was home on Sunday to at - Maplewood Manor residents • tend her daughter Julie's 13th birthday. Dave and Eva Netzke were out to daughter Rose Altman'8 on Friday. Alice Boyes spent last Tuesday at her home in Egmondville accompanied by her daughters Dorothy Uniac and Helen Consitt. Cassie Nicholson accompanied by daughter-in-law Beryl were out to Huron - view to Cassie's cousin's 90th birthday. Bar- bara Alexander visited with Cassie on Tues- day, and Harold and Beryl Nicholson visited with her on Thursday. Ed Boyes visited his wife Alice on Thurs- day. Visiting with/Mary K. Ryan during the week were Mary, Margaret Maloney, also Maureen and Mathew Lang. Marjorie Ryan was visited by her sister- in-law Florence Speck and daughter Dorothy of Woodstock. Residents are looking forward to the Strawberry Social at Seaforth Manor on Saturday Jim 18 at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome and all proceeds go to the Alzheimer'Society.
