The Huron Expositor, 1988-02-10, Page 9Novice shut out
Milverton 8-0
The Seaforth Novice team welcomed
Milverton Sunday at centre ice. The team
drove through lots of snow to get there.
However home ice must have been the ad-
vantage for Seaforth. They beat Milverton
8-0.
At 7:17 of the first period Shaun Anstett
started the scoring off single handedly. The
home team just wanted to pass that puck
around and didn't score again until 2:35 of
the period when Mark Van Dooren scored,
assisted by Charles Robertson and-, Jared
Munro.
The second period was again full of
passes. Scott Wood scored a goal for
Seaforth, assisted by Pat Gridzak and Mark
Van Dooren, as did Jason Smith, assisted by
Shaun Anstett.
The third period again was only profitable
for the home team with two unassisted goals
by Chris Marion, one goal for Brent Hulley,
assisted by Brandon Nash and Scott Van
Dooren and another goal by Shaun Anstett,
assisted by Pat Coyne and Jason Smith.
The home team proved lots of great
passes can also tally up the score. Josh
Dietz was awarded the shutout.
