Saturday May 19 to install the Exeter officers.
The Dedication service on Sunday of the
unveiling of the inscription marking the
memory of the Korean Conflict was well
attended by Korean Veterans Association
members from London and Stratford. The
Color party was from Stratford not London as
yvas mentioned last week.
Color parties were also present from
Goderich, Brussels, Wingham, Exeter and

The President of the Korean Veterans
Association, John Clarke spoke briefly on the
United Nations effort in Korea and doubted if
ever again we would see member nations
fighting side by side against a common foe.
He also mentioned anyone attending the
Olympic games in 1988 at Seoul would be well
advised to make a side trip to Poussan to visit
the United Nations Cemetery where 500
Canadians are buried along with the other
war dead of the nations.
