HALICHUK
Mark Frank Kalichuk, 29, of Vanier and
formerly of Seaforth, died in Ottawa Civic
Hospital on Dec, 1.
Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Alexander Kalichuk, he is survived' by his
wife Gaytte and son Gregory Mark, of
Hamilton, '
Also surviving is a sister Donna Lenaghan
of Calgary, bother V,tte Chomicki of Lucan
and friend Jan Becalik of Ottawa.
Mr. Kalichuk rested at Box Chapel of M.L.
Watts Funeral Home in Seaforth. A service
was held at St. James Roman Catholic
Church. interment was at St. James Roman
Catholic Cemetery. 4

Phyllis Kchn of V anastra died at St.
Joseph's Hospital, London. on Friday. Dec.
7. She was 46.
The former Phyllis Clark, she was
predeceased by her husband Edward Kehn.
She is survived by five sons, Brian, Douglas
and Richard all of London; Michael and Mark
of Vanastra;, two daughters, Christina, a:
Victoria of Vanastra; two brothers,. AN of
Clinton; Ted of Auburn; and three sisters,
Glenda, Mrs. Andre Belair of Vanastra:
Sharon, Mrs. Don Forrest of Clinton; Cheryl.
Mrs. Graham Smith of Kincardine.
Resting at the Whitney-Rib'ey Funeral ,
Home, Seaforth, Mass of the Christian burial
was held at St. James Roman Catholic
Church, Seaforth on Monday, Dec. 10.'
MARY WATSON
Mrs. Earl Watson, the former Mary Esther
Bolger died at University Hospital, London .
on Sunday, Dec. 9. She was 81.
She is survived by one son• 'Gerald of
Hullett Township and one daughter,. Leona,
Mrs, Ray Nelson of Richmond, B.C. She is
also survived by one sister. Marguerite
Sanderson of Brussels; one Brother, Harold
Bolger of Walton; six grandchildren and
three great grandchildren.
Resting at the Tasker Funeral Home,
Blyth, funeral service was held • Tuesday.
Dec. 11. Spring interment in Blyth Union
Cemetery. '

Frank Gordon Raithby of Auburn died at
the Clinton Public Hospital on Thursday,
Dec, 6, He was 81. •
Predeceased by his first, wife, Janet Thom
in 1945• he is survived by his wife, Viola May
Leatherland. Also surviving are three sons.
• Grant of Collingwood; John of Auburn;'
Harold of Vanastra; one brother'. Earl of
Kincardine; 19 grandthildren and four
great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased•by one sister Mary.
Funeral service was held from the Stiles
Funeral•Home, Goderich, on Monday. Dec.
10. Interment in Ball's Cemetery, Auburn,
William Archibald, son of Robert and Anna
Archibald, Seaforth has been appointed as
Regional officer in the Latin America and .
Caribbean Division of the Toronto -Dominion
Bank. A graduate of Seaforth District High
School Mr. Archibald has been with the bank
for 11 years. Previously„he was an inspector'
with the bank's International Inspection
Team for 31/2 years. He's currently enrolled
in the Institute of Canadian Bankers'
"education program and resides in Burling-
ton.
KEN MENIIEERE
of Seaforth, Ont. has recently graduated from
:an Electronics Engineering Technology Pro-
gram at RCC School of Electronics Technol-
ogy. He has accepted employment at
Northern Telecom in Brampton, Ont.
DR. LAWRENCET. KALE
graduated with a Ph. D. in Chemistry on Oct.
19, 1084 from the University of Waterloo. He
is a former graduate of S.D.H.S. and St.
Columban. Dr, Kale has accepted a research
position with Dow Chemical in Fort Saskatch-
ewan, Alberta. Proud of•his achievement are
his wife Dena, parents Tom and Bea Kale and
parents-in-law Campbell and Edith Wey.
