Priestley once said, "I have found women to be more conscientious, more clear-headed, more courageous, less touchy and more egoistic than men." That being so, more women should be elected and given influential 'positions where those excellent qualities could be put to good use. Perhaps we would then have more responsible government. Priestley was cerkoinly no anti -feminist nor was he a fool, uld that there were more men, and for that matter ' more women, with like convictions. More help is coming with ideas for - Christmas 'gifts. You can get it at the Christmhs Bazaar and Bake Sale of St. John's Anglican Church, Nov. 17. People are being forced to listen to too much of the wrong kind of music, bombarded with irritating ear -crashing sounds in shopping malls, elevators, airplanes and restaurants. Shopping in city malls can be nerve-wracking enough without those incessant shrill sounds. 1n a restaurant the sound of soft music is good. Patrons can converse easily while enjoying a meal or a chat over a cup of coffee. moat.** A nurse, about to give an elderly man a needle; asked in which hip he preferred the shot in.
