Brus- sels held their.Citizenship and World Affairs meeting in the library on Oct.' 10. Dorothy Steffler, Marguerite Krauter and Aleda Shantz were in charge, Members decided to have the piano repaired insteadof replacing it. Peggy Cµdnore thanked Aleda' and Annie Shantz for their support to the WI and wished them well in their new home in the Ayton area. The Tea and Bake Sale at Huronview will be held Oct. 16. Kathy Bridge and Joan Jacobs are the leaders for the course in "Smocking". Persons interested in taking this course may contact either leader. There will be a 'Microwave Cooking workshop in Seafortla.on Nov. 26. Plans were ,made for the WI Bazaar and Bake Sale to be held on Nov. 16. Jane DeVries is in charge of the bake table; Kathleen Semple. the candy; Alice Brothers, the deli; Ruby Steiss, the produce; and Kathy Bridge, the crafts. A card party will be held the first Monday evening of each month. The first one is On Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. Marie McTaggart gave a report of the Huron County WI Rally held in Wingham. Brenda Chambers received the 4-H Huron County WI scholarship. Marguerite Kreuter gave a talk on Syria. where her son was stationed for a year while working for the United Nations. About 100 friends and relatives held a surprise party for Mr. and Mrs. Cal Davidson of Kitchener on their 30th wedding anniver- sary, in the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre on Thanksgiving week- end. Both were formerly from Brussels: Thanksgiving day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stute were her parents Mr. and Mrs. ,Walter Flanigan of Strathroy; and her brother and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flanigan and family of Ilderton. Victor, Jamieson as pastor of Brussels Melville Presbyterian and Knox Presbyterian, Bel - grave was held.on Oct. 10 in BPossels. • The service was attended by members of both congregations, with many friends and visitors from other village churches including North Pallham, Holstein, Listowel, Exeter, Cranbropk, Walton and Hepsall. The ministers taking part in the service were Rev. G.L. Royal, Goderich; Rev. V. Tozer, Listowel; Rev. R.V. McDonald, Stratford; Rev. Roder McEarchern, Shake- speare; Rev.
