LB.f A10 — THE HURON EXPOSITOR, SEPTEMBER 28, 1984 Obituaries SARAHBARLO W Sarah Irene Barlow, the former Sarah Currier, of Gorrie died at the Centre Grey General Hospital, Markdale on Wednesday, Sept. 19. She was 84. Predeceased by her husband Vernon L. Barlow in 1965, she is survived by two daughters, Irene, Mrs. Charles Kirk of Sarnia; Myrtle Smith of Owen Sound; eight sons, Wells, Clifford, and Jeffrey, all. of Markdale; Sinclair of Brussels; Homer of Listowel; Howard of Edmonton, Alberta; Lawrence of Ethel and Grant of Mississauga. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren: Predeceased by two sisters, one brother, one daughter, Marion, Mrs. Ralph Moyer, one grandchild and one great grandchild. Funeral service was held from the Gorrie Chapel of M.L. Watts Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 22. Rev. Wm. Gray offici- ated. Interment in Gorrie Cemetery. ' LILLIAN HASTIE Lillian Gertrude Hastie of Gorrie, the former Lillian Earls, died at the Fordwich Nursing Home on Wednesday, Sept, 20. She -was 79. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Robert Hastie in 1983, she is survived by three daughters, Edith Blyth of Sauble Beach; Marie, Mrs. Robert Strong of Gqrrie; Margaret, Mrs. Keith Finnigan of Dorchest- er; two sons, Robert of Gorrie and Thomas of Woodbridge. Also survived by two sisters, Mary King of Harriston and Isabel Miller of RR 2, Wroxeter; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Resting at the Gorrie Chapel of M.L. Watts Funeral Home, funeral service was held from the Gorrie United Church on Sunday, Sept. 23. Rev. S. Bates officiated. GRANT ELLIOT"' Nelson Grant Elliott, of Seaforth died at the Clinton Public Hospital on Friday, Sept. 21. He was 59. Montgomery, 64, of Seaforth died Monday at the Seaforth Community Hos- pital. Predeceased by his parents, William Henry and Ellen Montgomery and a brother James Ross, Mr. Montgomery is survived by sisters Luella and Viola (Mrs. Harvey Beuerman), both of Seaforth. Friends may call at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth until today at 2 p.m. when funeral services will be held. Interment will be at Maitlandbank Cemetery.• CLARA KRAUSKOPF Clara Krauskopf, formerly of the St. Columban and Detroit areas, died at St. Mary's Hospital, London on Thursday, Sept. 20. She was 85. A daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Krauskopf, she was predeceased by six sisters, Mary Keller, Alvina McLaughlin, Margaret Balage, Elizabeth Nolan, Sister Victorine, and Sister Clara; four brothers, Albert, Joseph. August and Nickolas. Resting at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Horne. Seafforth where Mass of the Christian burial was held at the St. Columban Church on Wednesday, Sept. 26. interment in St. Columban Cemetery. Pallbearers were Norman Kramers, Louis Nolan, Frank Nolan, Charlie Price, Frank Krauskopf and John Schoonderwoerd. ALBERTA MORETI Alberta Morey, of Mitchell, died Sept. 16 at her home. She was 82. The former Alberta May Wilson, she was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wilson, two sisters and one brother. Surviving are her husband, Roy F. Morey; one daughter, Judy Steenson, of Listowel; three stepsons, Robert Morey, of Lindsay; Tom Morey. of Shakespeare, and Ken Morey of Seaforth; five stepdaughters, Betty, Mrs. Sam Orshan, of Montreal; June, Mrs, Jack Germann, of Kitchener; Joyce Weiner, of Cleveland, Ohio; Patricia Schulthies, of Stratford and Barbara, Mrs. Andy McLean, of RR2, Staffa. Also surviving are one sister, Julia Anderson, of Toronto, one brother, D'Arcy Wilson, of Lakefield, and two granddaugh- ters, Connie and Susan Steenson, of Listowel. Daughter of the late Mrs. Vesta Streets, she is survived by one sister, Cora, Mrs. Raye Paterson of Hensall and friend, Phyllis Lee of Clinton. Miss Streets was a bookkeeper at Ball and Mutch Furniture and Bali Funeral Home-ior 30 years until her retirement in 1979.
