LEGION
NEWS
On Sunday post Seaforth Branch hosted
the fall convention of Zone C.1. with
approximately one hundred 'members and
wives present from ,the eleven branches
which form our Zone. a •
After a parade to, lay the wreaths at the
cenotaph the meeting convened at 1400 hrs
under the able 'leadership of our Zone
Commander, Glen Bridge. One resolution
from Seaforth was passed pertaining to the
Corps of Commissionairs. It was felt they
should receive the security work on
overnment buildings rather than have
foreign organizations bidding at a lower
figure. The Corps mainly ,consists of
Veterans and as a result has left many with
no work. After the meeting lunch was served
by our Auxiliary.
