Fifty•two years ago she was married to her now bereaved husband. For forty- seven years she had been a resident of the township, bearing with her sorrgw- ing husband the trials and cares of early pioneer life. Mrs. McPherson was a truly Christian woinan, and ber life will live in the memory of her bereaved relatives. The funeral to the Wiugllam cemetery on Monday afternoon was largely attended, the service at the house and grave being conducted by Rev. W. J. West of Biuevale. Two sons and two daughters remain to grieve over the loss of a devoted mother, and the aged husband must finish the jour- ney alone. The bride was the re- cipient of many heauttful and costly presents. The young couple left Barrie for their ]honeymoon trip the same day at calve to Brussels for a short visit.
