The installation of a well at' Huronview
Home for the Aged .in Clinton has been
shelved for the time being, Huron County
Council was told at their Sept. meeting.
Huronview's board of management chair-
man, Paul Steckle, said cost is the main
reason • why the board • has decided to
postpone the idea of installing a well at the
home located just south of Clinton.
The question Of installing a well arose in
the past two years because of the cost of water
Huronview now receives from Clinton.
Mr. Steckle said the board of mangement
was advised that in order to install a well, a

The first clinical day of the Fall Session for
Group 1 girls of the Health Care Aid Course
will be at Seaforth, Health Care Facility on
Wednesday, Sept. 12.
Mrs. Maxine Elliott attended the funeral of
her father Mr. Louis Storey who passed away
Tuesday at Lucknow Nursing Home. Funeral
services' were held from Currie's Funeral
Home, Wingham on Thursday afternoon.
JAMES AND ANNE SMITH of Brussels
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
last Sunday. Married Sept. 1, 1934 at
Belmore, Mr. and Mrs. Smith spent much of
their married life farming in Grey Township.
The couple have one daughter, Donna, Mrs.
Bob Gibbfngsof Clinton and two sohs, Ron of
