A good time was had by all at the
Bicentennial held in Dublin on the weekend.
The weather was gorgeous, the parade was
fabulous, and the events throughout the day
were excellent. After all those descriptive
adjectives, the only one left for the barbecue
in the evening which fed over 700 people, is
superb.
Now those who were not in attendance will
say that it is impossible for any function -to
be so perfect, but,'it certainly did happen.
The community spirit was more than
evident as one watched the parade which
had 104 entries from floats, antique cars,
antique machinery, horses, bands, horse-
drawn carriages and novelty items and
bicycles. Young and old participated to make
this a very memorable and successful day.
