Decorated bicycles were judged at 12:30 p.m. and at 1:00 p.m. sharp and the parade started from the WI Hall. It was led by Don Pullen, William Elston, Neil Vincent and Murray Vincent, several members of the Brussels Pipe Band. School teachers, school children and children on decorated bicycles all proceeded to the Fairgrounds at the Community Centre where, the afternoon activities began.
