A long haul
Last weekend was a busy one in Clinton, as the town held its annual Spring Fair throughout
the town. Livestock was on display, there was plenty of fun and games for both children and
adults and the tractor pull participants were on the track. The festivities began on Friday night
with a demolition derby at the Clinton Raceway, followed by two more days of fun for all.

The sixth meeting of Wawanosh
Today was held on Saturday, May
26 at 9:30 a.m. at the Auburn Co-op.
Once all members had arrived Vice -
President Emily opened the meeting
with the 4-H motto and then the
club was introduced to Rhea, the
garden expert at the co-op. Rhea led
the members on a tour of the garden
centre at the co-op, showcasing all
the trees, shrubs, annuals and
perennials that the Co-op had to
offer.
After the tour, Rhea informed the
club on how to make the perfect
planter with a thriller, filler and
spiller. With this knowledge,
members tried out their green
thumbs in making their own
planters and everyone turned out
wonderfully, with some members
even incorporating vegetables into
their planters.
Members thanked Rhea for her
assistance and then closed the
meeting with the motto.
Achievement day was scheduled for
