Sixty-five tickets were sold at the Wing - ham station. —Two rinks of Wingham bowlers at- tended the bowling tournament at Sea - forth on Tuesday and Wednesday; we have not learned whether they secured any of the prizes. —"Two Strike," the well known old race horse, turned up its, toes, or hoofs, last week at Paisley. He had won many a heat and was in training on Brussels ?I mile track for some time this season. —The three cases of smallpox reported from Walkerton were only a mild form of the disease. The patients are about fully recovered and as every necessary precaution was taken it is not likely that will there be any further spread ea d of the disease. ---President Mille, of the Agricultural College, Guelph reports the most suc- cessful June excursions of the 1i'armers' Institute in the history of the college.
