W1iES OF SWEEPSThKES
I have been frequently asked shout my Entailed of feeding, and 11 may interest sotun
to know that I largely attribute my success to IIerbs.goutn, whirl. I have used during several
years. and during the last two years have used a considerable quantity. Especially
have I had good results with lambs that were being fitted for exhibition purposes. Other
lambs not getting it were frequently troubled with ticks, but we have never found any
trouble with ticks when sheep or Iambs were fed Herbageutn.
- I only feed a teaspoonfal to sheen and r,ther less to leanbs once a day.
Three sheep thea I bought in 1900 were fairly alive with ticks. T put them with my
other show sheep and gave then. Herbageun, and when ihearod, about the middle of March,
1901, they were perfectly free from ticks, and they had no sheep wash Igor other remedy or
pret entive than Herbagennt.
I may further say, that the sheep which were fed Ilerbagoum were in so much better
condition than my other sheep whieh were not fed it that when sheared the clip averaged! 2
lbs more than the others.
I have also used it with cows and other stock tit good advantage.
Yours sincerely.

Lakeside Farm, North Dumfries, County of Waterloo, Out., Feb. 19th, 1902.
NOTE—Mr. Orr has for a timber of years been a winner of.Reds at Toronto,Chicago,
Guelph and elsewhere. In 1901, at Toronto, he took first on pair of wether lambs, and sec-
ond on pair of yearling werlters At Chicago Exhibition. Autmmn of 1901, he took first and
second on single lambs, and first on the best five lambs. also first on yearling and champion-
ship ou yearlin):. This yearling took the sweepstakes wherever exhibited, and would up at
Guelph Far Stork Show. Deo., 1901, with firer itt his eines, and first for best carcase.
Mr. Orr was also winner of a number of prizes in breeding classes at Toronto, 1901.
I have faith in Iierbagenln. I feel 1) head of stock for the Guelph .Fat Stock Show. I
Fed them tr1i Herbagentl2 regularly and they took to it naturally from the first. And al-
though I.ive chem all the heavy food they would take not one of them got, off their feed or
.bloated during the whole time. This was my first experience in feeding Herbageum and I
was certainly astonished at the results. These cattle did better than I ever had cattle do be•
fore.
At Gnelph Fat Stock Show I won first prize and sweepstakes for beef carcase besides
three tirsr, three s+t_end and two third prizes and I attribute much of my success to the use
