annual Convention in the Methodist

teteber 13th. All who are interested
kindly keep this date in mind.
—Mr. Root. Johnston, who has been
very ill with appendicitis for the last
two weeks, was operated on at the
hospital by t.r. Itennedy on Sunday
Afternoon. Ilia many friends will be
pleased to know that he is improving
and is expected to recover.
Mr. 13ourasse has some oat against
reciprocity, and now the platforms of
the Conservatives and Nationalists in
Quebec are nearly the !lame.

land in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta.
The applicant must appear in person at the
Dominion Lands Agency or Snb-Agency for
the district. Entry by proxy may be made at
any agency, on certain conditions, by father,
