They arrived at the groom's parents,
Mr, and Mrs, John McPherson, where a
bouateoge reception awaited them. Af-
ter spending a short time with friends in
Orangeville, Amaranth and Grand Val-
ley, Mr. and Mrs. McPherson will take
up their residence on the groom's farm.

A joint meeting of representatives of
Bluevale and Ethel circuite was held at
the Johnston church, Tuesday after,

priety of combining Johnston'e and

tion will be sought. Rev. Dr, Rutledge,

David Sproat, who has been poorly is
getting along nicely. He has purchas-
ed the house vacated by W. K. Whaley
and got moved to it. R, Armstrong has
moved to the home Mr, and Mrs. Sproat
left. •
The line 100 -acre farm of Robert Arm,
strong, 13 miles east of Belgrave, has
been leased to W. K. Whaley, a, well-
known former resident, who is now in
possession. Mr. Armstrong has moved
here and will devote ,his attention to

he is already very handy.
Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Astell will have
the sympathy of a large circle of friends
in their time of bereavement in the death
on Tuesday of their son, William 11., in
his 5th year, The child had been ill for
only a short time with scarlet Lever. Mr.
and Mrs. Astell had intended leaving for
their home in Nntana, Sask„ in a few
days.
