On Saturday, 29th ult., there passes away at her home in this village, one o the pioneers of Monis township in the person of Mrd. Wm. Forrest. The de ceased was born in Islay, Scotland, May 1st, 1830, and Dame to this country it 1857, living on the 2nd con. of Morrti until the death of her husband, the late Wm. Forrest, in February, 1897. Po the past three years she has resided wits her daughter in Brussels. Mrs, Forres was a true example of a beantifn obriatian character, who, by her quie unassuming manner influenced all wit) whom she Dame in contact.
