sons having claims against the estate of
Luther Jones Williams, late of the village
of Blyth, in the County of Huron, mer-
chant, deceased, who died on or about
the2lst day of April. A. D. 1930, are re-
quired to deliver to the undersigned Ex-
ecutors of the said estateon or before the
14th day of June, A, D , 1930, a full state
ment of their claims together with partic-
ulars thereof, and the nature of the secur-
ities if held by them. all duly verified by
affidavit.

said last mentioned date the said execu-
tors will proce !d to distribute the estate
of the said deceased amongst the persons
entitled thereto having regard only to
such claims as they shall have received

J. Lockie Wilson, managing director of
the Provincial Plowmen's Association, at -
ter looking over the site selected for the
provincial plowing match in Perth in Oc-
tober, stated it was an ideal location, and
well suited for the event. If good weath-
er prevails; he told the members of the
Perth Association, Itis likely there will
be between 75,000 and 100,000 people in
attendance during the week of the match.
The event is scheduled for October 14 to
15, inclusive, and plans are being put into
shape rapidly to assure success of the big
match.
"The End of the Lane" a comedy -
drama in three acts by Lillian Mortimore,
will be presented by the Naomi Players
of Brigden, under the auspices of the Lad-
ies' Aid of St. Andrew's United Church in
lieu of their annual lat,n social, in Mem-
orial Hall, Blyth, on Saturday er ening,
May 31st. This play has been presented
a number of tines with unprecedented
success and promises to be something
just a little better in the way of entertain-
ment. The cast contains two former
resi encs of Blyth, Mrs. Lillian Sinclair
and Mrs, Carrie McDonald. Specialties
will be given between acts. Tickets—

on Tuesday.

there was a fair turn -out to the W. M. S.
social last Friday night, a good program
was given along with the illustrated ad•
dress on "China." which Rev, Dr. Mor-
timer. of Auburn, gave, which was very
interesting. Lunch was served by the
ladies and fully enjoyed. The collection
amounted to 517.00.
The meeting of the Women's Institute
ook place on May 22 Owing to the ill•
ness of Mrs. Allen, the speaker sent front
the Department, she was unable to attend
but Mrs. Davidson, of Dungannon, very
ably too her place, A quartette was giv
en by four of the members, also a duct
by Misses Lillie Garrett and Alberta Snell
who sang the piece entitled "A Basket
of Roses" dressed in old fashioned cos-
