Although not in the least unexpect- ed yet a feeling of sorrow and gloom fell upon our community on Thursday morning last in learning that Mrs. Pennington had in reality passed to the great majority. She was born in Devonshire, Englaed, about 43 years ago, and about 23 years later, became the wife of the bereaved husband, and eame to this country to reside taking up their abode and living ever since in the townships of Goderich and Col- borne.
