when their daughter, diva Mae, was
married to lir, Charles Bleck, of

Carter, sister of the bride, The
bride was gowned in. white point
d'esprit over white silk with tulle
veil, tied carried white roses. Mlle
Daisy Coombs, of Molesworth, acted
as bridesmaid, gowned in pink
silk niullo anti carrying pink roses,
Prof. J. l0, Jordan, of Godericlt, was
host man. After the ceremony the
invited guests sat down to the wed•
cling dinner, The groom's gift to
the bride was a bracelet set with
rubies, to the bridesmaid a pearl
crescent, and to the groomsman a
pearl pin. The bride's reception
gown was black lace over rose col-
ored silk and her travelling dress
was brown broadcloth with taffeta
waist and brown hat to mateh, The
happy couple left on the 4 o'clock
train for Pert Llurnn and Detroit
where their honeymoon will he
spent, after Which they will return
to Goderich where the young coeule
will eemmence 'tarried fife. The
wedding gifts were many and hand-
some showing the high esteem the
happy couple are held iu by their
