Edward Livingston, of Delmer, Ont,,
celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of
their married life. A large num ber.of
children, grandchildren and relatives
assembled. to do them honor. There
were nine present who were present at
Abe' wedding fifty years ago. Mr and
Mrs Livingston have seven children
and are all married. The two sons are
Rey. S. G. Livingston. B,A. of Sarnia,

Montreal, July 23. --There wereabont 450
head of butchers • cattle, 80 °Alyea and 450
sheep and Iambs offered for sale at the Ease
End Abattoir to -day. The butchers wore
Out etrong, but trade was slow, as the
drovers were ackihg higher prices for all
pretty good cattle. A lot of prime steere
were held at 550per pound, bet were pot
sold, and it is probably that they will be
ahipped to Great Britain, Pretty good
stook sold at from 4o to nearly So per lb
and the common aginiele at frotn So to 3/.3
per lb, while tbe leaner beasts and hard
looking bulls sold at from 2t to So per lb.
Calves sold at from 52.60 to 311 each, and
an extra largo veal was held at $18. Ship-
pers pale 4•1 per lb for good large sheep,
and the butobets psid from 3o to 4o per
lb for the others. Lambs sold at from 52,50 •
to $4,75 mob. Fat hogs sold' at from 50
to 60 per lb, weighed off the ears.
