For the first few minutes Goderich seemed to . have the advantage, but as usual our boys gratinally got down to playing and. in four minutes Baird scored for Clinton. The playing was again continued with renewed vigor on both sides but al it neared half time, two minutes being left to play, Baird again scored for Clinton. No goals were scored Id the remaining two minutes and on the sound of the Whistle both • teams °erne ed play to partake of a five-minute rest.
