Tailor & Sons CLINTON AND HiNtSAC:L MONTREAL 1'_,IVE STOCK MARKET The live stock trade is very quite at the present time and will not im- prove to any extent before the grass- fed cattle are in condition to ship, which will be in two or three weeks' time. The shipments last week were the smallest of the season and will; it is expected, be even smaller next week. The market for butchers' stock was unsteady owing to the large supply of inferior stook. Butchers held off and generally bought at their own prices. There was a good demand for choice butcher's stock, however, the supply of which was very small- Any offering were firmly held, the general opinion being that the supply of this class of cattle is very small at the present time. There was a large supply of sheep and lambs, all sheep suitable for shipment selling readily at 4+ to 4ic. The re- ceipts of hogs are also large, but prices remain firm. A.DANGEROUS COUNTERFEIT. The man who counterfeitl'a coin or a bank note, or who is detected in an attempt to pass a counterfeit is speed- ily planed in prison as a person too dangerous to be at large. How much more dangerous is the person who, for the sake of paltry gain, endeavors to impose upon the public a dangerous and worthless counterfeit of a popular medicine. The great popularity ac- hieved by Pink Pills, and the wonderful results that have followed their use for the treatment of all female complaints, nervous diseases, and general debility in both males and females, has induced sone nnsornpulous parties to place up- on the market a worthless imitation, resembling the genuine Pink Pills in appearance only. The public are cau- tioned againet these spurious imitations and are asked to see that every box they purchase boars the trade mark and name of The Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., of Brookville, Ont. Do not per- mit any dealer to palm off upon you any imitation o the genuine pill, ns not only will they not produce the expected results, but may prove pos- itively ha4mful. No other pill made can produce the results obtained by the use of Dr. Williams', Pink Pills, Sold by all dealers or sent post paid, on receipt of price(50c. a box) by ad- dressing The Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., Ilroekville, Or -t.
