Duties ore as follows :—To have fires started
in all the rooms before 8 o'clock a m. when need-
ed ; to keep wood•boxos full of wood, to sweep
the floors every evening atter 4 o'clock, and to
dust desks, Beate, kc., every morning, to visit
closets once each halt day and see that the floors,
&c., are kept cleat), to scrub platforms once a
month, to wash blackboards once a month, to
keep weeds, trees, school yard and grass plots
in proper condition, to scrub the floors during
the summer and winter vacation, to look atter
schools during absence of the Principal at noon,
to prepare any room necessary for the meetings
of the Board, and in case the well becomes dry to
place a pail of water In each room in the morning
and anbther nt noon, kaep the woodshed filled,
and attend to the measuring and piling of the
wood. And In addition, any little chores and
repatre, not mentioned above, that are of a
trifling and inexpensive nature, such as mending
hroken windows, 8c.
