FOR 1889,
Being a By -Law to raise by way of
Loan the sum of Two 1'/touean(l
Dollars for the purpose hereinafter
mentioned.
Whereas the Municipal Council of the Village
of Hayfield has resolved to rise by way of Ivan
tine eu111 of two thousand dullaae fur the purpose
of granting aid by way of a bonus to that

of Waterloo, Province of Ontarit1, to centile the
auk' henry Waller & Co. to establlah it Steam
Roller Grist Mill in the said Village, and to mice

the Village Council of the said Village of Ray field
to issue Debentures for the arm of two thousand
dollars, payable with interest as hereinafter
provided.
And whereas it will require the sum of 8180
(one hundred and eighty dollars) to he raised
annually by special rate for the payment of the
said debt us hereinafter mentioned '
And whereas it will require the sum p1 $100
(ene hundred dollars) to be raised amorally by
special rate for the payment of rho interest as
also hereinafter mentioned.
And whereas the amount of the whole rateable
property of the said corporation, irrespective of
any income in the nature of toile, interests.
dividends, rents or fees from the said property
and also irrespective of any income to be derived
from tho temporary inveatu lent of the Sinking
Fund ur any part thereof according to the last
revised Assessment Holt of the said Corporation,
being for the year one thousand eight hunhrgd
and nigh ty-eight,is the emu of $87,451(eighty-seven
thousand, tourhuudred and fifty one dollars).
And whereas the existing debt of the raid cor-
poration of Hayfield is as follows :—Nothing, and
there is nothing iu arrear, either for principal
or interest. .
And whereas it is made necessary to appoint the
time and place for taking the votes of the duly
qualified electors and for appointing Deputy
