Mr. MacDuff Lashb bought four very fine beeves, weighing 4,540 lbs., at 43c per lb. The calves of- fered were all of inferior quality, and sold at from 21 to $4 each, with a few of the best at from $5 to $7 each. The few sheep offered to -day seemed to be all old bucks and not very salable, but good yearlingswould bring up to 6c per -Lb. The lambs sold at from $2 to $41 each, but sdine superior lambs were bought at higher rates before reaching the market.;1 Fat hogs are rather high - ..e jn price; those just come off thecars f }nand fed hogs at 6c per lb. a TheEstate Late John.
