Mr. James Renews Langridge, son of
Mr. Stephen, Langridge, of Goderich.

The bride ,was becomingly gowned in
white georgette trimmed with silver
metallic ribbon and wore a veil of
Brussels net. She carried a bouquet
of Ophelia roses and wore the gift off
the groom, a rufby ring. The bride
was attended by her sister, Miss
le Grace Shiells„ who wore rose geor-
gette and carried a bouquet of Col-
umbia roses. The groom was sup-
ported by his brother, Mr. 'Donald
Langgidge. The wedding music was
,played by Miss Tena Scott. The
groom's gifts to the bridesmaid and
pianist were gold bracelets and
Is chains and to the best man a gold tie

; buffet luncheon was served. Mr. and
Mrs. Langridge left later for Kitch-

During the routine of business Mrs.
Elliott announced that they had gone
over the top with their allocation and

Miss Helen Riggs and Mies Grace
Bonine, of Jackson, Mich., are to be
the evangelists. The girls are ac-
complished and carry on the musical
program. They not only accempany
with the piano but also use the guitar
and autoharp. They come with
splendid recommendation. They are
graduates of Chicago Evangelistic
Institute and wherever they have car-
ried oil special services, great suc-
cess has been the result of their lab-
ors. Victoria St. church covet your

The W. M. S. of North street Unit-
ed church at its meeting on Tuesday
afternoon received reports on the
work of the praet year. As the
chub year has now been made to
correspond with the calendar year,
the reports covered a period of only
nine months, beginning April 1st.
The officers for the "coming year were
then installed by the Insley,

OBITUARY
CLARK. ---As mentioned in our hoe.
issue, Mr. Grenville R. Clark passed
away at his home in St. Marys on
Friday, Dec. 30th, after an illness of
severed monshs' duration. He had
been in the Stratford General Hoepl-
tal for a month, following an opera-
tion for peritonitis, lie had return-
ed home and was believing to be im-
proving, but the day before he died
took a turn for the worse, end passed
away on Friday morning, Dec. 30th.
Decoaremi was 42 years of nee and re-
sided in St. Marys for the past three
years, and formerly lived in Gode-
rk h. Before going to Goderich
had lived in Mitchell for several
years and was well known and highly
respected by all who knew him. He
was in the employ of the Prudential
Life Annurance Company and was
rated as one of their most suecessful
saleernen. He was married to Mimi
Muriel Sawyer, daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sawyer, of
chell, who survives, together with
three daughters, Marjorie, Ivy and
baby Gwendolyne. The funeral wee
