P. Dania with interment in Exeter cemetery. In her 66th year, Mrs. Fee was tht former Irene Lipphardt, of Zurich', and had been a resident of Hensall for many years. She was a member of the United Church. Surviving are on son, Charles, of London, and two stepdaughters. Mr, Fee .passed away May 5, 1955. mils. THOMAS J. She was a native of Huron county, having spent most of her life in Exeter. Her husband predeceased her 30 years ago at Kippen. Mrs. Johns was,a member of Hensall United Church. Surviving are one daughter, (Mabel), Mrs. Albert Shirray, of Hensall; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A daugh- ter, Mrs. A. Gower, of St. Cath- arines, passed away ninepsyearS ago. - Funeral services were held at the Bonthron. Funeral Home, Hen- sall, Monday, conducted by Rev. C. D. Daniel, who paid fitting tribute to the life of the deceased. Burial was in Baird's cemetery. Pall- bearers were Jim Bengough, Sam Dougall, Lloyd McDonald, Alex Munn, Ken Elder and Lorne Chap- man. Some 40 children registered and the attend- anceremained high throughout the week. Rev. J. R. Holden, Mrs. Ernest Toll, Miss Betty Axtmann and Miss Margaret Boyd were the teachers in charge. The boys learn- ed carpentry and finished two enches for the church and one bird house, while the girls made religious scrapbooks and worship centres. Besides taking up prac- tical work, they also had Bible study. Mrs. Bert McKay, London, call- ed on Mr. John McClure on Sun- day. Mr. Thomas Holden is spending a few days in Innerkip. Mr. and Mrs. W. Constable Morley Groves, station- ed at Goderich, will' man the new machine. Constable James Culp, now retired and living in Goderich, was the last •officer to ride a motorcycle out of Goderich. A native of Seaforth, Ont., Mr. Buck studied , mining engineering at McGill University and Ottawa University. During the Second World War he served overseas for four years. Mr. Buck is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the American In- stitute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum engineers. But the -price of scrap, a vital raw material for the steelmaker, went up 181 per cent in the same period; and the,price of labour in the primary iron( and' steel industry by 130 per cent. Nearly all other prices, including the price of labour, have risen higher and faster than have steel prices in the post-war period.
