wedding of Mr. and Mrs. N. Baird's
son, George.
Mrs. A. Hohner visited a few
days with Mrs., William Smith, in
Exeter.

The Woman's Association met in
• the school room of the church on
May 1, with 31 present. Mrs. Jas.
Thomson and Mrs. Graham had
charge of the devotional exercises.
Mrs. Thomson read Psalm No. 8
and Mrs. Graham took as her
topic, "Wonder, Recovery and Ad-
oration." Hymn 26 was sung and
Mrs. Graham closed this part of
the meeting with prayer.
Mrs. John Broadfoot took the
president's chair in the absence
of Mrs. Baird. The Creed was -re-
peated in unison. The secretary's
report was given by Mrs. Mc-
Beath- and the treasurer's report '
by Mrs', Berry. The offering was
received by Mrs. Wilson. Thank -
you notes were read from Mrs'.
M. Walker, Miss, Bowey and the
Baird and Jones families. Mrs.
Moffatt reported for the manse
committee., Mrs. Hohner reported
making two sick calls.
June 5th will be the annual visi-
tors' day. It was decided to in-
vite Egmondville and Turner's so-
cieties • as guests. Mrs. L., Wilson
and Mrs. W. Scott will elcome
the visitors. The lunch committee
will be the group leaders, and the
