ballerina length strapless gown of
peacock blue shot taffeta 'with
matching bolero small black hat,
black accessories, and corsage of
red roses.
Miss Joan Hunter, as bridesmaid,
wore a ballerina length strapless
gown of rust shot taffeta with
matching bolero similar to that of
the bride's, small black velvet hat,
black accessories and a corsage of
yellow gardenias.

'Regular meeting of the Barbara
Kirkman Auxiliary was held by
candlelight Tuesday evening when
a. power interruption near Ftrat
'Presbyterian •L'hurch put the school
room in darkness. Mrs. J. B. Rus-
sell •presided over •aa attendance
of some 30 members.
Mrs. Russell opened the aueeting
with a poem and a hymn. Mrs. C.
Reith asked for subscriptiona to
the Glad Tidings, and Mrs. Russell
outlined some of the interesting
features in the book.
The nominating committee, Mrs.
R. Charters, Mrs. C. Reith and Mrs.
H. H. Leslie, will bring in the new
elate of officers for 1954 at the
next meeting, to be held December
15, when the executive will arrange

and Buffalo, the bride wore a red
wool suit, powder blue coat .with

roil. Thirty ladies responded with
"a 'woman from the bible." Mrs.
Frank Kirkby gave the treasurer's
report.
A splendid talk was given by
Mrs. M. Thomas, who used excerpts
from an Old Country church paper.

The copper contest money was
collected by the leaders. Mrs. Tor-

Mrs. Allan McCall received $76.15,
for 1953. Lunch was served by the.
hostess and Mrs. Lloyd Porter, Miss
Bessie Davidson, Mrs. Nelson Marks
and Mrs. Percy Holman.
Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Gemmell

Tuckeremith, were in Shelburne
Tuesday attending the funeral of
the late Mrs. John .Burnside. The
former Jennie Garter, she was well

At Home of James Keys
The Four Square Farm Forum
met Monday night at the home of
James and Mrs. Keys, McKillop,
with 33 present. As review night,
several questions came up for dis-
cussion by groups.
The remainder of the evening
was spent playing progressive
euchre. Winners were Mrs. Gor-
don MacKenzie and 'Clendon Kerr,
Lunch was served. The forum will
meet next Monday at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. John !Henderson.

Falling Limb Cuts Off
Power West of Main St.
Power to ,Seaforth consumers in
the west section of town was cut
off for about two and a half hours
Tuesday evening when a limb from
a tree which was being cut down
on John St., fell across hydro lines
and caused a short circuit. While
the damage was confined to a rela-
tively small area, P.U.C. Manager
R. B Holmes said power had to be
cut in the area west of Main St. in
order to repair the break.

IDUBLIN.—A pretty wedding took
place at St. Mary's Church, Kitchen-
er. on Saturday, tNovember 21, when
Helen Marie, daughter of Mrs. Iona
McKee, 74 Krug St., was united in
marriage with MT. James Patrick
Feeney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Feeney, R.R. 2, Dublin. Rev, Father
Claude 'Straus officiated at the cere-
mony and sang the Nuptial Mass.
Given in marriage by her broth-
er, M. 'Lloyd McKee, the bride
wore a redingote gown of chantilly
lace fashioned in princess lines
with, longeileeves, waltz length sat-
in skirt which fell in tiers of lace
and net. She wore a matching skull
cap of lace piped with satin and
rhinestones which held a scalloped
finger -tipped veil. She carried a
colonial bouquet of red rosebuds
and white chrysanthemums,
Mrs. Thomas Feeney attended the
bride, as matron of latmor, swearing
a gown of waltz length orchid taf-
feta with a velveteen jacket styled
with a standup collar over the
strapless bodice of tbs gown. Me
wore a matching velveteen half hat
edged with rhinestones and match-
ing gloves. She carried a sheaf of
yellow tosehuds and white chrys-
anthemums.
Mrs. Thomas Feeney, Chathata,
was beat man for his brother.
A reception followed the wedding
dinner at "The Hacienda," Water-
loo, The bride's mother received in
a frock Of orchid We, .with black
accessories and a corsage of white
baby chrysanthemums. The bride-
groom's mother were a navy crone
gown with black accessories and a.
corsage of red roses.
