Bohn "Jack" Fortune, aged 79,
passed away in Seattle an July 31.
He was the oldest son of the late
Robert Fortune, and left Seaforth
in 1897, going to Duluth, Mina,
where he .lived about seven years.
Be left there for Seattle, Wlash.,
where he established a large truck-
ing Arra, known as. Fortune Trans-
fer Co. He also had interests in
freight lines on the west coast.
His wife died five years ago. He
is survived by three sons and one
daughter; one brother, William, in
Detroit, and two sisters, Mrs. -Mary
Carpenter and Miss Margaret For-
tune, in Duluth, Minn.

points. Her shoulder veil, held in
place by a sweetheart headdress of
matching material, was trimmed
with orange blossoms and seed
pearls. She wore a strand of pearls
and carried a hand bouquet of
Talisman roses with amber stream-
ers. -
Miss Josephine McIver, .Seaforth,
sister of the bride, as bridesmaid,
wore a waltz -length strapless ;gown
of shrimp organza over taffeta, de-
