Former Resident Recalls
Lions Park Beauty, Old
Friends From. Seaforth
The.following letter was recently
received from Mrs. Margaret T.
Mulligan, Grand Forks, North Da-
kota. Mrs. Mulligan is a former
resident of Seaforth.
"Another year has rolled around
. . . and it is a pleasure to send
my renewal subscription to your
Huron Expositor. This will be the
46th (continuous) year that your
paper has been coming into my
home!
"Now I have become reminiscent
—.my thoughts go back, and I hear
'loving voices of old • companions
stealing out of the past once more,'
and, in my imagination, I see and
hear little children whom I have
never seen playing around that
pretty little body of water in Lions
Park . how lovely to have a
place for everyone to meet and
play and sing.
"I have many callers from the
East during 'the summer months;
last '.Sunday I had friends from To-
ronto and Detroit round my table—
all motoring to the Pacific Coast
and back through the Canadian
Rockies.
"How grand it would be to hear
from some of you old friends—liv-
ing in so many places all over this
fair land. Write to me sometime!
"With kindest regards and best
wishes."
