In Hensall Tuesday
Tuesday evening a large crowd
attended the reception in Hensall
Town Hall for Mr- and Mrs, Ken
McKay (nee Helen Love), of Hilis-
green:
A presentation of money was
made by Ernest Whitehouse, and
Jim Drummond read the address:
"It was in the summer of '51,
Audrey said to Ken: 'Let's have
some fun, take it to Bayfield to do
some jive, it's. my turn anyway to
drive. So Ken took the gals to
the dance, gave them all a thought-
ful glance. Helen Love was one of
the gang; at sight of her Ken's
heart went bang. Ken thought:
She is the girl for me, but what
can I do with the other three?
On July 29 Ken made bold, takes
;her to a show, so 1 ani told. That
is how it all started, and Kenneth
never was faint-hearted. The next.
date, gracious sakes alive, was Oc-
tober 25. Now on Concession '10
life -is a dream, no longer Ken
breaks roads back to Hillsgreen.
Good wishes to you here tonight;
we hope that you may never fight,
that troubles ne'er will dark your
door, that Helen always scrubs the
floor. This: little gift my help us
say: Beet wishes to you every day."
