was escorted to the alter by Ma
Burne Hutchison and was given in
marriage iby her mother, Mrs. W.
S. Hay. •She wore a floor -length
gown of white net and laze with
lace bodice, while the skirt was
'made in, paiaels over criholine. She
also wore a chapel veil, and car-
ried white gladiolus and laurel.
Mesa Gwen Crrierve, Strathroy, Was
bridesmaid, and Miss Janette Mof-
fat, Seaforth, was the maid of hon-
or. They were attired in blue net
will]. white embroidery motifs in
the skirts. Lace jackets completed
their ostumes, and they carried
yellow and candlelight shaded glade
with laurel. Mies Annie Hanna,
Kingsville, played traditional wed-
ding music and accompanied Mr.
George Buckrell, Kingsville, when
he sang "Because," "The Lord's
Prayer" and "Wedding Prayer."
The reception was held at the
Kingsville Golf Club, where the
bride's. mother received in a wine
and gray ensemble with pink car-
nation corsage, while the groom's
mother choke a black and pink
gown with pink carnation, corsage.
Guests were present from Santia-
go, Calif„ Windsor, Detroit, Lon-
don, Strathroy, West Lorne, Sea -
forth, Hensall, Kippen, Harrow and
Essex. Following a motor trip to
Northern Michigan, Mr. and Mrs.
Taylor will reside in Kingsville.

Hopf - Attman. — The Baptist
Church, Hanover, was the scene of
a quiet wedding Friday afternoon,
July 25, when Rev. Price united in
marriage Doreen Alice, ' eldest
daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. Pat
Attman, Walkerton, and grand-
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Netzke, Seaforth, with Roy Allen
Hope eldest son of 'Mr, and Mrs.
Alfred Hopf, Hanover. The bride
was lovely in a torquoise blue net-
ting over blue nylon satin with
short sleeves and silver ornaments
with blue sweetheart shaped halo.
Her bridesmaid was Miss Margaret
Collins; R.R. 2, Seaforth, who wore
a pink dress and blue halo. Best
man was Don Armstrong, Walton.
After the wedding a light buffet
lunch was served to the immediate
families. The couple motored with
the bride's parents to Muskoka and
from there will visit points in the
United States. On their return Mr,
and Mrs. Hopf will reside in Wal-
kerton.

Late Mrs. James Sholdice.-
1 here passed away Tuesday at the
home of her son-in-law, Mr. J. Mc-
Naughton, Tuckersmith, Marian
Wiatson, Widow of the late James
Sholdice, in her 85th year. Mrs.
Sholdice had been in failing health
for the past five months. Born in
Grey township, she was married in
Brussels to Mr. ,Sholdice, who pre-
eceased her by six years. Surviv-
ng are two sons, John Sholdice,
London, and Watson Sholdice,
Mor-
ris township; three daughters, Mrs.
John McNaughton, Tuckersmith;
Mrs. Tolbert Clarke, London, and
Mrs. George Williamson, McKillop;
and one brother, Thomas B. Wat-
son, Galt. Mrs. Sholdice was a
resident of Seaforth fpr six years
until the death of her husband. She
as a.member of First Presbyter-
ian Church. The funeral will take
place from the G. A. Whitney fun-
eral home on Friday, at 2:00 p.m ,
with 'interment in Maitlandbank
cemetery.
