Basketball Yep! The Juniors are still winners. Their latest victim was Clinton High School, the longtime arch -enemy of S.H.S. Seaforth scored 33 points to the Clinton's 20 to win. This marked the first time In about three seasons that Seaforth has won at Clinton, if memory serves me correctly. The girls' team managed to break a winning streak by losing to the Clinton girls, The third game took place at the High School Friday night, between the Main Street Mice (now who..wquld have given them a name like that!) and a sort of senior team. For some unknown reason, the Mice wop 58-30. 'Nuff said. To go ahead and gay that the town team used only six players would make things seem worse than they were. Tuesday was talent morning, in- stead of Friday this time, for the sim- ple reason that on Friday the talent wasn't there, to wit, Wilma McLean. When she was finally corralled Tues- day morning, she played Stardustl Serenade, and as an encore gave a masterful rendition of the "Too Foot Polka." The local team did not play the same brand of hockey that de- fea('ed Blyth the first times, whether it was over -confidence or not, we are not sure, but it certainly wasn't the best they can play. Some times a team from a town think they can go out and walk over a smaller place, but often get fooled. When a team thinks they can defeat -the other one, that is the time they put themselves in a precarious posi- tion. Over -confidence and cockiness often lead to downfall, •and we would suggest to the, local Midget team that they go out and play hockey every game .. , don't relax just because you Arthur Fraser Income Tax Reports Bookkeeping Services, Etc. The Seaforth Bosharts continued their winning ways this past week, eating Clinton Colts, Mitchell, Cen- tr iia R.CA.F., and Clinton R.C.A.F. Wednesday by a score of 6-5. That will be their last game of the schedule. Now that it is near carnival time, according to many papers, we have been wondering if any Seaforth so- ciety has been contemplating sponsor- ing such an event here. How about highlighting the program with a race between officials of Seaforth and neighboring townships? It would be grand sport and would prove that; "CLEAN SPORT LS GOOD SPORT" ONTARIO ONTARIO ELECTION ACT, 1937, .R.S.O., CHAP. 8 AND ONTARIO VOTERS' LISTS ACT, 1937, CHAP. 7 The Ontario By -Election, February 16th, 1948 Notices of Sittings of Revising Officer TAKE NOTICE that the sittings of the Revising Officer for the purpose of hearing complaints or appeals with regard to the Voters' Lists to be used at the pending By -Election of a member of the Legislative Assembly for the Electoral District of Huron, will be held for the respective municipalities in said District, at the following times and places, mentioned in the schedule below, with the names of the Clerk of the Revising Officer for each Munici- pality, and the last date for making complaints or appeads to the said Clerk.
