Spring flowers formed an effective
setting in St. Andrew's United
Church, Bayfield, on Saturday. for the:
marriage of Dawna Joy, only daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ma1C'&lin Toms,
Bayfield, to Lloyd Alfred Westlake,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Westi'akte,
of Bayfield. Rev. F. G. Stotesbury of-
ficiated, Mr. Clayton Guest, of To-
ronto, uncle of the bride, played the
wedding music, and Mrs. Guest 'sang,
"0 Promise Me" and "Day of Golden
Promise." The bride, who was. given
in marriage by. 'her father, wore a
white satin gown with bouffant skirt,
fitted *bodice, draped off the shoulder
neckline edged ,with Guipure, lace.
Her floor -length veil was held in place
with a „Queen Anne headdress, and. -
she carried a cascade bouquet of
Peerless red roses,. Roetaz and Nar-
cissi with American Beauty stream-
ers. Miss Morah Guest, of -Toronto,
was her cousin's . brides'maid, wearing
a pale pink' sheer with fitted bodice;
fun skirt, short sleeves, 'sweetheart
neckline, starched lac® `headdress and
wore gloves to match. She carried a
cascade bouquet of pink Cirginia calr-
nations with. pale green,.streamers.
Little Barbara Johnston was flower
girl, wearing pale blue net floor -length •
dress with off the shoulder neckline,
headdress of pink and carried a Col-
onial style bouquet of pink carnations-
and
arnationsand sweet peas. William Johnston,
of Windsor, cousin of the bride, was'
'groomsman, and the ushers were
Grafton Weston, of Goderich, and',
Merton Merne.r, of Bayfield. At the
reception the bride's 'mother receiv-
ed the guests, wearing a robin's egg
blue crepe dress, black off -the -face •hat
and black accessories. The :groom's
mother wore a .lightgrey pin -stripe
suite with black hat and accessories.
They both wore corsages of red Briar-
cliffe roses. Mr. and Mrs. Westlake
left -for a short honeymoon, the :bride
wearing a powder blue ripple 'back
suit with brown 'hat and accessories
and corsage of red Briarcliffe roses.'
The couple' will reside at Virginia -
town, Northern Ontario, wherethe
groom is a member of. the 'Provincial
Police. The groom's gift to the
,bride were pin and - ear -rings to
match; to the best man, Ronson light-
er,, and to` the ushers,' 'white silk
scarves; to the bridesmaid, silver
