Established originally in,the 1870's • bye W. M. Robertson, the business was later taken over by W. 0. Reid and Robert Wilson and known as Reid & Wilson. During that period the large business block, now °owned by E. L. Box and 'accommodating the Box furniture , and 'undertaking business and the Academy Billiard Parlor, was erected as headquarters of the firm. In subsequent years the business was owned and operated by various inter- ests until about 1912, When it was tak- en over by. the late H. Edge.
