Real Corn.—Mr. Peter McCowan, of
Roxboro, has a field of hybrid corn
that for .size and quality is outstand-
ing in the 'district, even in a .good
corn year. The cobs are • ixtlsually
large and the. stocks tall. Farmers
from Kitchener and Palmerston -dis-
trict, who were here to look it over,
have pronounced it the best they
have ever seen.
Honorably Discharged.—Spr, Ken-
neth Eaton, R.C.E., son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Eaton, who enlisted for
active service in 1944, has been hon-
orably discharged. He was stationed
at Hamilton and Halifax until V -E
day, when he signed up for the
Pacific, and attended vocational
school. For the past three weeks he
has been stationed at Woodstock and
London, awaiting his disclrarge. He
expects to be home on Saturday.

Roxboro, has a field of hybrid corn
that for .size and quality is outstand-
ing in the 'district, even in a .good
corn year. The cobs are • ixtlsually
large and the. stocks tall. Farmers
from Kitchener and Palmerston -dis-
trict, who were here to look it over,
have pronounced it the best they
have ever seen.
Honorably Discharged.—Spr, Ken-
neth Eaton, R.C.E., son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Eaton, who enlisted for
active service in 1944, has been hon-
orably discharged. He was stationed
at Hamilton and Halifax until V -E
day, when he signed up for the
Pacific, and attended vocational
school. For the past three weeks he
has been stationed at Woodstock and
London, awaiting his disclrarge. He
expects to be home on Saturday.

Both speakers are outstanding Ministers of the Church, and the
