'The funeral of the late James Kil-
patrick, well-known oitizen of Hensall
and district, whose tragic death came
as li great shock to residents of this
village and surrounding district, was
'held privately on Saturday last from
Hoppers' funeral home, Exeter. 'Rev.
D. C. Hill, ' of Caven Presbyterian
Church, Exeter, officiated. For his
Scripture reading he chose the 23rd

14th chapter.. of•, John.. 1st verse: "Let
ilot your heart be troubled, ye believe
in God; believe also in Me.” Burial
was in the family plot in Exeter
cemetery.. The pallbearers were Or-
ville Twitchell, Win. 'Kyle, Dunean
Stewart, Sandy Pepper and Robert
ilhemlpslon, all 'of Hensall, and -Frank
Taylor of 'Exeter. The late Mr. Kil-
patrick was born in Crediton, a sin
of the late Mo.`'and Mrs,. Ralph Kil-
patrick, and had lived' in. this village
