COLUMBAN 'The funeral of the late William Patrick O'Connor, whose death oc- curred earl clenrly in Detroit on Sun- day morning, was held on Tuesday from the home of his sisters, Misses Margaret and Catherine O'Connor, to St. Coluniban 'Church. Requiem High Mass was sung by Rev Father Dant- zer and present in the sanctuary was Rev. Father Powell., -St, Colunyban; Rev. Father Jordan, Detroit, and.:Rev. Father Nigh,'"ttouston, Texas. The 'deceased was the youngest son of the late Patrick and Mrs. O'Connor and was in his fifty-second year. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jos. C. Eckert, of Oakville, and five grand- children and by five sisters, Misses Catherine and' Margaret of Hibbert, idrs, Peter Eckert, McKillop; Mrs. William Burke, tHlibbert; Mrs. Frank Mack, Halley, New York, and by dig brother, Daniel, of .Hibbert. His wife predeceased him twenty-six years ago. The funeral was largely at- tended by relatives and former friends. Among •those from a dis- tance were Miss Annie McLear and Mrs. Flood of 'Detroit and !Mr. J. V. Ryan of Stratford.
